About yours truly
I am a freelance sound designer & recordist with extensive experience in games development, a background in music and credits on AAA and smaller titles alike.
Currently I’m contracting for Sony Computer Entertainment London Studio, working on a Playstation VR title. Other recent work (late 2015) include a six months sound design contract at Deep Silver Dambuster helping out on Homefront: The Revolution (PS4/PC/Xbox1) and an ongoing wildlife recording & editing project.
As Audio Lead at Mind Candy (2011-2015), I have been responsible for the sound of mobile game World of Warriors (App Store Global Editor’s Choice & Best Games of 2014), the BAFTA-award winning Moshi Monsters and the animated feature Moshi Monsters: The Movie, which saw a UK-wide theatrical release.
Prior to Mind Candy, I worked for many years as a freelance audio designer, and even before that I co-founded a netlabel where I released my own and other people’s music.
I absolutely love working on games. Collaborating with a team to create interactive entertainment is tons of fun.
I also have great enthusiasm for recording wildlife, nature and ambient sound, so much so that in March 2015 I flew to Zimbabwe to embark on a 4 months recording & studying trip throughout southern Africa. I also became a qualified safari guide during my time there. A library of my African wildlife sounds will be released in Q1 2016.
